Free Driving Lessons

Free driving lessons

The doer drive program aims to remove non-vocational barriers to employment by providing free or subsidised driver training education and instruction to Workforce Australia Services participants, job seekers, vulnerable persons and students.

The program will increase the number of qualified drivers in the Pilbara, increase access to safe vehicles and provide culturally appropriate education and mentoring to help people gain their driver’s licence.

The doer drive program is open to eligible participants over the age of 16.

Register your interest now at doer.org.au/drive.

Our driver training education includes a number of activities for participants to attain their driving licences, pass their theory test, complete their fifty hours of supervised driving (including five night time hours), and successfully complete their practical driving assessment. Many of the activities within the doer drive program enable Workforce Australia Services participants to attain points under the Points Based Activation System.
